DC VISION has become a green company

DC VISION Ltd. is involved in the project "Green Company". This project aims to protect the environment by ensuring effective take-back and through recycling of electrical retired. Those articles contain dangerous substances like mercury, lead, cadmium, brominated flame retardants and others but they also comprise large quantities of recyclable and recoverable materials.

Employees can environmentally friendly relieve batteries and small electric appliances and there through the company significantly extends its activities in the field of environmental protection.

Through involvement in the project "Green Company" DC VISON demonstrates ecological thinking, both towards its employees as well as towards the public. And at the same time a benefit is being offered towards employees in terms of recycling of small "home" electronic devices.

As a part of the company´s Corporate Social Responsibility DC VISION also cooperates with the Forests of the Czech Republic. Their goal is sustainable forest management based on maximal use of creative forces of nature to ensure a continuous and balanced planting of new trees. DC VISION financially contributes to the planting and thereby at least partially offsets its production of carbon dioxide emissions. Carbon dioxide contributes to the greenhouse effect which is considered as a major source of global warming which is caused especially by burning of fossil fuels (i.e. natural gas, gasoline, fuel oil, coal) and deforestation. Employees of DC VISION annually fly approx. 15 000 miles by plane and drive approx. 100 000 kilometres by car. Through the financial contribution DC VISION helps to the sustainability of the environment and it is thereby considered as another step towards the company´s long-term goal - to reduce the environmental burden.
