Implementation of process innovation in KBA – Grafitec can start!
Congratulations to our major partner to obtain funding from the program OPPI - Innovation for the implementation of the project, which aims to increase the efficiency of the manufacturing process of the printing machines at KBA-Grafitec s.r.o. For successful completion of the project a new organization of the production process of the printing machines will be implemented. This will be based on an innovative model of the value stream management. One of the most significant changes that comes along with this model, is the phasing of the production activities from the production of the particular components of the printing machine to the finalization of the product as the last step.Innovated model of the production organization of the large-scale printing machines was developed in cooperation with the experts from DC VISION specialized in LEAN Manufacturing. The whole project is linked to the principles of this philosophy, which has been implemented by the consultants of DC VISION into the production and administrative process since 2008.
