Krnovské opravny a strojírny (Krnov repair services and engineering shops) – all employees have been involved in the introduction of LEAN Manufacturing principles!

Together with our consultants the management of Krnovské opravny a strojírny has initiated a complex project during which step by step LEAN manufacturing tools will be introduced. We are very proud of the fact that on September 29th 2009 we could present the company’s top management the main principles and tools of LEAN manufacturing which had already used Tomáš Baťa in his factories. The further step consists in the successive familiarization of leading employees with LEAN principles and various methods of eliminating waste on the workplace.

Krnovské opravny a strojírny s.r.o. successfully continues the rich history of Dílny pro opravy železničních kolejových vozidel (workshop for the repair of railway vehicles) and with its 600 employees it is the second largest employer in the town of Krnov.
